BARN CULTURE, 2016
The barn has been a long time landmark of rural Midwest America that hides in plain sight. Often associated with the surrounding landscape, the barn has distinct characteristics that relate to a historical development of the structure.
This project studies the responsive and flexible functions of the barn, as well as its iconography, to reinterpret what the barn can do pragmatically.
