While designing furniture for my project Metropolis, I made several iterations using foam cubes as a building block. The individual modules have a single wood face to allow configurations of a chair and a table to be created by the user. I assembled these blocks into architectural forms and introduced cuts at 45° to suggest circulation.

 

Working with simple geometries, color, and texture I developed several interactive furniture collections with unique characteristics and references.
